It’s all about the people…
When focusing on process improvement techniques, ALM tools, technical innovations and research, sometimes we lose sight of what really is the basis for a high functioning team.
Finding ways to engage your team members on a personal level is absolutely a building block of high functioning team DNA. I have taken steps in the past to bring teams together. This isn’t only based on a desire to make more effective teams, but also a desire to help foster the building of relationships that add value to life. I care as much about my team individually, as people, their well-being, their happiness and their career path, as much as I do the immediate sprint or our ability to continually improve and provide value to our organization.
For me, the triad of “People”, “Process” and “Technology” starts with “People” for a good reason!
